Do Not Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a drink every now and then, leave your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your billfold, and keep all cash, charge cards and checks at home. Take only the money you intend to spend on refreshments, tips and few dollars you expect to lose and leave the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not at all. Just realistic. You could experience a success following a drunken evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hook a marathon roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always consume alcohol and gamble. The two just don’t mix.

Leaving your moolah at home might be a bit excessive, but defensive actions for dramatic behavior is required. If you gamble to win, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you like to burn your money nary a worry, then drink all the gratuitous booze your stomach are able to handle, but do not carry plastic credit and cheques to throw into the mix of following losses after your drunken brain squanders all the cash!

Allow me to carry this a single step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then head on to the internet to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my domicile, but seeing that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink and bet.

How come? Despite the fact that I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I drink, it is clearly sufficient to blur my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t wager when you do. Both create a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
